This import batch accounts feature is designed to streamline the process of adding multiple accounts to Ectype.
Follow the steps below to get started:
An Ectype account. Create an account if you do not have one
Available slots
Access your Ectype account by entering your login credentials.
Once logged in, navigate to the Accounts tab in your dashboard and select Overview.
On the Overview page, locate and click the Import Accounts button to begin the import process.
Download the provided Excel template file. This file contains the necessary headers and format for the batch import.
Fill in the required details for each account under the respective headers in the Excel file.
Ensure all information is accurate and matches the broker details for each account.
Specify the account type as either 4 or 5, depending on whether you're using MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5. For MetaTrader 4, enter 4 in the account_type field, and for MetaTrader 5, enter 5.
The broker server is identified by an ID. For example, the ID for Deriv-Demo is 1213. To find the correct ID, click the provided link in the import account pop-up to visit the broker's information page.
Copy the broker's name and server details, then paste them into the appropriate fields in the Excel file.
Once the Excel file is completed and saved as an .xlsx file, return to the import pop-up.
Click on the Choose File button to select your completed Excel file.
Confirm your selection and begin the import process.
The number of accounts added will depend on the number of slots available.
Congratulations! You have successfully added multiple accounts to your Ectype platform.
